“La Scuola di Cucina intelligente” is a school created in 2007 to teach Italian cuisine and pastry to amateurs wishing to widen their knowledge and practice of food, cooking techniques and nutrition.
“La Scuola di Cucina intelligente” is a school created in 2007 to teach Italian cuisine and pastry to amateurs wishing to widen their knowledge and practice of food, cooking techniques and nutrition.
10,000 students have taken part in our courses so far, and around 70 professional chefs and pastry chefs have shared their knowledge and passion. Our students are mostly busy adults, fond of food that love cooking, combining wellness and fun.
The cooking lessons take place in the labs of the most important culinary school in Italy, CAST Alimenti, located in Northern Italy and attracting chefs from all over the world to improve their professional experience and skills. The lessons of “La Scuola di Cucina intelligente” take place in the evenings, in one or two meetings of 3 hours each. They can be practical (the students cook together with the teacher) or demos, for experts as well as for beginners.
There are many course options to choose from including Bread or Ice-cream making, Fish and Fresh Pasta, famous Italian Risotto, as well as Cream Desserts and Cakes, up to the most modern Cooking Techniques (Vacuum, Low Temperatures, Microwaves, Refrigeration, etc.), useful information and practice on Mediterranean Diet as UNESCO Heritage.
The highlight for 2020 of “La Scuola di Cucina intelligente” is its opening to our friends abroad, English or Italian speaking, for live online classes with our chefs: cooking together at dinner, a Sunday lunch or a brunch at week ends, respectful of local time. At the moment only customized cooking classes are held but do not hesitate to ask for more information to [email protected].
All recipes and ingredients will be sent by mail a few days before the course starts, along with an easy Zoom meeting link for the scheduled day and time.
HOW CAN I JOIN IN “LA SCUOLA DI CUCINA INTELLIGENTE” CLASSES?
A limited number of participants (up to 30) will be allowed to take part in each class to assure a perfect interaction with the chef: the best way to follow his instructions, explanations or suggestions.
ZOOM application is the chosen instrument, easy to use, known worldwide and free, there is no download required, just follow the link.
Upon registration on the website, participants will receive:
- the recipes that are going to be prepared during the lesson
- the list of ingredients and equipment to cook with
- the procedures and technical notes
as well as an invitation email with a link to click at least 15 minutes before the live lesson connection.
To follow, the participants will also receive:
- the recorded lesson through WeTransfer
- the possibility to contact the chef for any questions relating to the lesson, within 15 days.
Participants that have purchased the ingredients and set up the “mise en place” will be able to prepare their dishes in their own kitchen.
